I recently rewatched the interview footage of myself from my CBC spotlight moment, from all the way back in 2020! I had bangs then!
I look back on that summer interview and chuckle to myself: I talk about all the aspects of filming SOSL, when this passion project was very much a learn-as-you-go experience. What aspects of filming did I learn while working on this project? Good question! I went with my gut the entire time, working with Janel and Ian and doing what felt right along the way. Lots of work and, "Well... let's try this!" went into this dance short. And now you can watch me giggle through it forever on the CBC Gem website. Will I produce more work on film? Yes... in fact, I've got something planned - Omicron willing - for this spring (2022)... so keep checking in!
